Couldn’t see a thread for this one so thought I would start one.

Must be some ew value available with the favourite the price he is.

Absolute minefield as usual. I’ve had a very small each way bet on Doctor Brown Bear at 25/1. Transferred to Martin Brassil a few months ago from Brendan Duke. He’s a trainer who doesn’t send runners over here for nothing. He’s still a maiden but has form with all the right Irish horses.

I did notice that this race usually goes to a hold up horse but looking through the form, most of the field like to lead or be prominent. Looks set to be a real burn up early on.

I like to punt in these big fields, so 3 for me –
    HMS Seahorse
    Saint Segal
And an e/w punt on Doctor Brown Bear.
Best of luck to all :good:

Was hoping to swerve the race this year, but been following Brazil this year, and after they looked to give this a miss, interesting that he traps here.

Got to be something more low key than him lurking in here, and I do like Doctor Brown Bear, and Saint Segal, but I’ll stick with Brazil.

    Brazil 11’s

Not a race I give much time too, so just having quick goes on The Tide Turns and Brazil.

Gaelic warrior is short but the Mullins drums are banging loudly so he got to be backed , at bigger bell ex one was a decent flat horse and has plenty experience over timber to , blinkers on I’m hoping he can run into a place

    Gaelic warrior win

Had to play Gaelic Warrior because he could win with his head in his chest but fully agree about Bell Ex One. Nicholls runners in first time headgear are always eye catching and had to take the 28/1 each way.

Also would not be surprised to see Swinging London outrun his massive price.

They said on racing radio last year that Martin Brassil never enters a horse for a race without it having a chance. So I do tend to back his runners.

    The ex David Evans runner
DR CHURCHILL has had a crash course in national Hunt and comes here unexposed.
    HMS SEAHORSE
has shown real promise and they both rate each way material.

Well done VtC, he did well to get past getting clobbered at every hurdle!
