This is a fabulous 6 minute video of Lostintranslation having such fun in his retirement, love the commentary too, with his rider giving him praise all the way round
Slate lane suffered career ending injury when winning at Haydock in Saturday, struck into himself took half tendon away. Hopefully operation they done will be enough to save him for early retirement

I guess it counts as a retirement, Cloudbreaker is being sold as a horse out of training due to an unspecified injury. I know VTC always thought she had a nice race in her, so it’s a shame she won’t have a chance to build on that next year, but at least she seems to have recovered well enough to move onto a second career in the paddocks.

That fine Irish hurdler Ronald Pump is now on the BHA’s non-racing agreements list. He was runner-up in Grade 1 company on four occasions including the 2020 Stayers’ Hurdle.
He earned connections £249k in 41 races. Wishing him a long and happy retirement.
