Not sure on the Dell Arca front?
VF x
January 10, 2022 at 22:00 #1577456Thanks Devonian and vf. Sounds like Dell’ Arca has not been retired as far as we know!
As mentioned by moehat in another thread, Khan has been retired after winning over hurdles at Ludlow today. Unusually for a Ludlow hurdles winner, he is off to stud in France! His biggest success was in the Group 1 Preis von Europa back in 2018. Wishing him a very happy retirement.
January 14, 2022 at 19:46 #1578034🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼 MILITARIAN 🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼
This is a bittersweet moment…. Our wonderful
racehorse Militarian has today been retired from
racing, he has sustained an injury that will
require rehabilitation and rest.. he will be ok and
pain free and he will be able to enjoy a quieter life..He has been a fantastic racehorse for us and it has been a pleasure and a privilege being part of the journey that Marvin has provided for us as a family and all the Team…what a legend! A warrior through and through 🏇🏼🥰🏇🏼
Happy retirement Marvin and thanks to everyone from staff to professionals that have help keep Marvin fit, healthy and always ready to run.

February 1, 2022 at 19:04 #1580942Black Mischief retired aged 10 years. Difficult to keep sound, so retired and the Frys are currently looking for a home for him outside of racing.
February 2, 2022 at 20:59 #1581071is with great regret we must inform RacehorseClub members that Create Belief has been retired from racing due to a recent career-ending injury.
Create Belief’s members have been given a full report in their members area on the RacehorseClub website.
RacehorseClub’s Freddy Tylicki said; “It is with great sadness we report Create Belief has been forced to retire from racing due to a recent injury. She came back into training with Johnny Murtagh before the new year but, unfortunately, she’s since picked up a career-ending injury.
She gave RacehorseClub our first ever winner at the Curragh in a premier handicap in May before winning the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot, just over three months after launching. She went on to win the Group 3 Desmond Stakes on her next start at Leopardstown. She was officially rated 110 and had a Timeform rating of 116, which shows how good she was. Her performance at Royal Ascot was remarkable and a day her members will never forget. She will now go to Tweenhills and a decision will be made as to which stallion she will be covered by.
RacehorseClub members can now look forward to following her career as a broodmare and hopefully we can enjoy having her offspring in RacehorseClub silks in the years to come.”
Create Belief’s trainer Johnny Murtagh said; “It’s very disappointing that Create Belief has had to be retired but listening to veterinary advice and speaking to the team at RacehorseClub, unfortunately this decision had to be made in the best interest of Create Belief.
She will always be a special racehorse to me as she was my first Royal Ascot winner as a trainer and she gave RacehorseClub members three amazing days last summer winning at the Curragh, Royal Ascot and Leopardstown.
I’m sure she will be a hugely successful broodmare as her attitude both on and off the racecourse was fantastic, and I look forward to seeing her offspring in the future.”

February 16, 2022 at 16:25 #1583489Double Shuffle retired. Tom George posts:
“Happy Retirement to old yard favourite DOUBLE SHUFFLE 😍🐎Shuffle has been at Down Farm from 4yo to 12yo – with many great days inc. second in the King George at his beloved @kemptonparkrace & winning over £220k 🥇 He will spend a happy retirement with work rider Becky Wilkins 🥕”
February 16, 2022 at 17:40 #1583504Thanks Tonge, had been wondering about that as Double Shuffle was already down as a non-runner in the National.
He was a very classy performer on his day. Wishing him a long and happy retirement; it has certainly been well-earned.
February 20, 2022 at 15:16 #1583992No big surprise but Waiting Patiently has been retired after yesterday’s poor run.
February 20, 2022 at 19:26 #1584028Welcome news.
As a fan of the horse I absolutely hated watching that run yesterday and was begging Jack Tudor to pull him up after about four fences.
For all that I don’t agree with the way he was campaigned for many years, it’s well known that he had constant fitness issues and it’s just a shame he only put it all together on the big stage once.
Happy retirement WP and rest those knees up!
February 21, 2022 at 16:41 #1584118Great news such a fragile horse
