gamble, this is the thread- The Bleak as Ricky called it. From pages 14 – 21 you mention several times that you thought I was an Ian clone. Nathan seemed to think I was as well, I’d forgotten that. Seems impossible to me that you could have forgotten this.

I’ve got back up to page 26, but it’s heavy going so will maybe finish it tomorrow.
I read extremely quickly – found some gems or nuggets – things that had slipped my mind – but yes tedious and has not aged that well. Fair play to Ian Davies for his perservrence. It was a bit tongue in cheek but not my finest case by a long chalk. Billion and TAPK popped in and Drone.
As for the reconciliatory posting by Lake he does not directly apologise just calls out the Kate Bush thread as brilliant which was his way. I may have read it but think I would have remembered his false ref to lamb of God so maybe not.

He did apologize, look at the posts again and you’ll see it. Chit-Chat forum was scrapped by betfair, gamble, but I just googled ‘betfair forum chit chat Kate Bush’ to find those posts. So it would be easy enough to access other threads as well if anyone wanted to – probably not many would though. Can’t believe I spent so much time on there when I think back now to all the bollocks that was posted, some by myself of course. The same goes for other places like Talking Horses, I shan’t have many good memories of that joint! A few others as well, mainly a waste of human life.
Would like to have good memories of this place though- so hope that when you or I finally cry enough we can still be on good terms

Ricky had a French horse down to win the 1000 guineas and Steve said it may not run at Newmarket
She didn’t but won at Royal Ascot later in the year with Ricky returning saying myself and Steve knew nothing to put it politely.
No-one said she wasn’t any good and I backed her myself for Ascot.. All that was said about her was she might not run at Newmarket..

If my memory serves Ricky was number one fan where gamble was concerned and once again if memory serves I upset him by saying he might run out of tissues such was his hero worship. I think he then turned on his hero possibly as a result of the Ian Davies “is he isn’t he thread”.

Not sure what path you mean, mate. But I have just finished reading another twenty pages of this thread- so I’m a little bit dizzy. Some good stuf,f but I wish I’d not been so cruel to Ricky – It may be I who owes him an apology
