I just carried on the name Pimms instead of Pilsen.
?????
You carried the name on ?
What impersonating Pilsen ?
This sounds a little devious Nathan !

August 12, 2014 at 08:54 #488073I see someone has written while I have
been writing – looks like Drone
from the style of it – sorry to cramp you !I am often accused of writing in riddles
but I deal in facts and you Nathan
write cleverly but make no senseWho is Pimms ?
Whose creation is it or is it not a clone ?
Is it you or is it Mr P
What are they posting ?It is a long time since I looked
into talking horses. I saw Kathy
there smoking with Grass
She was a great loss to this site
OOps I have opened up a hornets nest there
and lost future votes
She had the energy not unlike you Nathan
to inspire people to read and write.
Meshaheer once stepped into this Kathy role
when she was gone and the site like now
was in the doldrums. It was at the time that
Dayight was meeting someone for a possible
sale of this site after being physically threatened.
Nore was writing then and Razeen suggested we
might meet up at a racecourse and when I asked
how I would spot him he suggested
he would have his sleeves rolled up
I was thinking this morning about
Escorial’s old site – where he defected to
Mersey Pride – pretty sure it has been abandoned.
Quite honestly I am too lazy to check
I never quite understood why Pilsen lost
it over Bachelor’s Hall ? Was it the
stress of dealing with all the shite
the Rickster threw at him months ago ?
These things can build up !
You know him Nathan
better than me I guess.
Bachelor’s Hall created Paddy the Paddy
the worst scourge ever to darken our doors.
Since then of course he has cleaned up his act
quite considerably and I would list him
as one of the more interesting posters
– as he challenges conformity and says things
as they are !Rickly brought up the P factor as a
determinant of a poster’s longevity.
Well Pewter and the old Le Pen can be added.I had noticed this P factor in my earlier
research and certainly I give credit
to Rickly for this small but important piece of
detection. I was banned here during Le Pen’s
heavy scribings or possibly they were before my time
and nearer the year 2000.
Tooting remembers them and no doubt
Matron too I guess !As for Mr Pilsen – yes an interesting character.
Was he possibly Le Pen – the pen/Mr Pilsen
they seem to fit and both have mercurial histories.
The fact he missed Bush’s birthday pilgrimmage
tells me things might not have been A1 with him.
Creeping senility or the recession biting around
the Taunton area. He was still up to speed with
his clock work so maybe I am wrong.
He follows the steps of his former self
Tormentor – although I believe he walked
rather than being pushed.
I will always give him credit for
uncovering Bachelors Hall. Clone spotting
has become incredibly difficult with so
many fish and the clever mirrors they now use.Pilsen will no doubt continue writing
on Betfair or maybe he will
not – but just stand like a scarecrow
in his small back garden just watching
the crows on hereWhat Rickly needed to work on
was the odd fact he was a late
night poster – these are few and far
between. Certainly Ian Davies had
that in common with him – but little
else so I believe Rickly was tightly
parked up in a cul de sac with little room for
manoeuvre and little to go on
bar a burning desire to make him go red.
Mr Pilsen’s crash was welcome news
as it rather saved his bacon.
Let’s face it – Pilsen was no Kim Philby.
The nearest he got to the Cambridge five
was a super yankee.
He might have liked to have cloned
the Mata Hari – a dancer not unlike Bush in her
silks and shapeliness, and she was executed
from behind in not dissimilar fashion to him.P.S.
It is 10.00am I am the only registered member on the site
apart from the google twins and seven other guests –
so these are dire times. The post above took me fifty minutes to compose in between making some teas – so it is a labour
of love. That is where the time goes and I wont post again today !August 12, 2014 at 09:16 #488076Morning Gamble.
To clarify Mr .P has been posting on talkinghorses under the name of Wolf but in the areas of that forum that unless you are a member and logged in you cannot view. He throw a stick and stone at BH who batted it off with ‘I can run but I cant hide’.
Pimms, Pimms who the F*** is Pimms……..

August 12, 2014 at 15:59 #488102Drone I am back with an attack
I was drinking
in a pub on Saturday that was the hangout
for vagabonds and thieves in years gone by.
The resident ghost would reputedly tap you on
the shoulder when you wandered out to the
outside loo for a bit of relief
– the tap was to unsettle you.
I did not go to the loo as I only had
a pint in there and being a hot day
and not my usual drinking time I
had a pint of krone shandy
– a typical sheep’s drink.
Nothing happened to me – I was the better
for drinking with evil spirits and men
who had previously come from the mire
and some would call rank and who possibly
stank. I am in favour of rubbing shoulders
with bad Ees – it’s life enriching !Razeen cursed this site to hell and
back when he was ejected for a couple
of bad our father’s. If he didn’t
he should have done so.
An assiduous writer for years he
kicked the Mills and Boon set
into touch then tied up their
handbags and plimsolls and confiscated
their readers – he later blew his top at
one of the big men for playing about
with a one word script and then got
his top blown right off for his trouble.
His head may have left his body but remember
He was a modern day lone ranger
who fought against the evil of the word association
gang who were slowly strangling the lounge
of character indeed he fought against
anyone who represented mediocrityThere I HAVE SAID IT
ONCE AGAIN
Some say Pilsen might have been
the little son he played with,
who grew old being taught the
Bromley style and how to live
with tight pin stripes and
getting one over the neighbours.
Other’s say Pilsen might
have been his egg sucking Grandad
p.s. thak you Nathan for that

An Entertaining read though ….
December 1, 2014 at 09:53 #497063I’m beginning to think that you miss Mr. P, Ricky?
When the clone arrives and you see that first pic of Bush you will let out a roar of ‘YES’ with a punch of the air, be careful not to hit the computer screen when it happens mind.
Then the fun and games can start over.

December 1, 2014 at 11:29 #497074I don’t agree Nat; I think ricky enjoys having this place to himself, like some sort of mad ruler of a kingdom of lost souls

December 2, 2014 at 00:26 #497137In with the NEW and out with the OLD
RUBBISH RICKY
In with the NEW and in with the OLD
….as far as the Troublers – I was labouring with it at the time Cormack intervened. I did not have quite the necessary energy to do it justice and I had a lot of other things on my mind at that time.
As far as Cormack stating gamble was a self seeking big-head well, I had no problem with that as he is. In fact in his banning statement to Daylight he said he had a mouth as large as the Sagasso sea. I do remember that bit.

What I disagreed vehemently with Cormack was that the thread was doing TRF an injustice or words to that effect. Well the ensuing words and head to head would have taken probably more than one posting and if there had been a bit of bad blood – it would have destroyed the atmosphere to finish the thread – which did not have quite the ending what Cormack or others would have expected anyway- it was not that serious.
I felt there was little energy on TRF anyway at that time – I think the thread was addressing that – but the mood at the time was a bit low generally on TRF, and I sense these thing,s and did not want to drag it further down. I have to say also, it was on the face of it a negative type thread and it was difficult to keep that negativity going. I only postponed it, but have not felt in the right mood to continue with it. I NEED THAT ENERGY
and things in my life generally are worryingly in the doldrums back then and now.Changing the whole shape of this forum is quite a gamble on Cormack’s part. I very much hope it works but there has not been a huge response to the thread which shows you – people don’t really care too much – or are too shy to voice an opinion. They may regret when it changes and they are not happy !
December 2, 2014 at 09:56 #497152Fair enough Gamble …mission understood
the thing is though , the old is very much gone . departed . never to return …it takes a bit of getting used to ..but its the plain truth
The new platform will whizz and be swish …adverts will help to fund it , yes ,,,no bickering or trolling will be tolerated as they would scare off the advertisers …it takes money to run this outpost , just for it to cover costs
It took me ages to get my head around Cormacks new forum …but it became apparent there was no going back …so we have lost the good reads , its not been as weighty , true , but we still have some good contributors ,,,so its not all bad
Vive la change .
…get back to grazing you old git ….leave the ghouls and the departed be ….lets welcome the people we have
December 2, 2014 at 21:31 #497221The old git comment is a bit hard
to take from a drone labelled teenager
but moving on…

…I am finding gamble quite high maintenance and
at times troublesome to manage. He started off the
troublers thread with his old vitality
then I had to step in and continue
in his stead – one reason why my energy dropped.
I am not a particularly emotional person and
I shed no tears in the old lady and horse
thread. I found it moving indeed but that was that !When I finally disposed of gamble – quite a
few years ago now – his head shattering and
exploding into small pieces, later
scraped form the ceiling of the small flat
on the far side of town, I was deeply saddened.
He’d been a good friend for many a year and
I had spent an awful lot of intoxicated nights
marvelling at his mental dexterity.
Like Sherlock Holmes he was taking too
much control and had to have his day. When I witnessed his funeral cortege passing
the window and spotted Marshall grinning in the
crowd, that gathered my emotions into a fireball
of anger mixed in with such a deep emotion –
the same one feels when losing a
parent. So hear this – online deaths can be tragic affairs
and the old lamps are far from just numbers –
they are living extensions of the real person.Obviously gamble was replaced by Flatcap and then
gamble returned as a canny ghost making his demands
deep inside my pressurised head. I have very much reduced
my alcohol intake of late but ‘he’ cannot operate properly
without a few krones swishing about in my belly
– and will demand alcohol almost as a pre-requisite
to my sitting down with himVery occasionally he will write unjuiced but this is
becoming more rare of late
I am writing as myself at the moment and feel the tedium.
Last night he wanted brandy until 1am and as there was
not much in the bottle
he then asked me to open a bottle of red and he consumed
about three quarters of that until
about 2.30. Not a soul was up at that time just the
google men and possibly some guests I had created
as I believe is the case. Did not even get a whiff
or sense that Pilsen was looking in.Whether gamble will migrate to the new site I do
not know – he is very picky and moody of late
and I cannot force feed him. He may demand extra
drink which I am loathe to supply him. That is his story and yes he is also affected
by my own mental moods – there is a synergy between
us and there is no case of multiple personality
disorder – I am certainly in control – well in
my normal sober state. In the past many mornings
I have awoken with a bad head and thought
Oh my God what was he up to last night ?
and I have reached immediately for the laptop
as the kettle goes on for a possible saving
my face edit.I will not keep beating this drum about
bringing back the old lamps. I do not think
they will come back – but would like them to have
the opportunity. Davies came back having to move
a small space in his name – in other words not
quite as himself. I would want to afford him
the opportunity to have his identical name back
and a little more space.
And why not ?Just a few up to the minute thoughts from me

I know keep taking the medication
December 3, 2014 at 17:24 #497279Dont worry sheep ,,Gamble will drive you to the new site , more villains to encounter …too tempting to resist

Thanks for the nomination of villain of the year ….that was lovely ….it will take a lot more than slippy blue’s pleading to stop my next thread about ya ….drunken old git

but get this
The ghosts will stay dead ….so get over it baaaaaaaaaaaa
