Betting from America

Remember there was a topic a while back about betting using regular accounts online from the US. Does anyone have a link to it by any chance (not been able to find it) or who could help me out how to go about it?

a.  clause 2.14 of Betfair’s December 2006 conditions revamp: "You will not disguise or interfere in any way with the IP address of the computer you are using to access the Exchange or otherwise take steps to prevent us from correctly identifying the actual IP address of the computer you are using whilst accessing the Exchange."; and

b     the "we-can-find-you" tone from the IFHA:

<br>On the other hand, on the purely technical side, what one person builds, another will usually find a way to circumvent:  some http tunneling can be hard to track down and on a certain reading could be argued even not to contravene the BF restriction.  

However then sauce for the goose will very likely be sauce for the gander in many ways – including praying-in-aid any of those US state laws that allow recovery of losing stakes.
