    Pardon my ignorance, but I see that Ballyandy has an official mark of 147 in the RP card for the novice’s chase at Perth today.

    Is it normal for chasers to be given a chase mark before their first run over the bigger obstacles?

    I think this is hurdle mark. It looks like the delete button has not been utilised in this case. Other cards I have seen do not show a rating.
