pegwell bay,I understand what you are saying. My point is that until SL hooked up with a betting agency we could view their raceing coverage ,now no more because they(the gambling agency) cannot take bets in the USA.At the Races does not cover all the races in the UK.Those which they do not cover were up to now available on SL.They are still available but no longer to USA viewers. So you and I are confined to what ever races are covered by AtR.Some little coverage is available in the Racing Post on the tv viewing section.
ps I was refused viewing oh SL because I lived in the US.October 29, 2012 at 03:51 #418603Is Sporting Life’s radio still free?
October 29, 2012 at 11:47 #418615The Sporting Life radio service was discontinued more than a year ago. There are at least two reasonable alternatives elsewhere.
Sportinglife.com’s parent company 365media was bought out last year by Sky, hence the proliferation of Skybet links and banner ads on the site. The downside of this is the requirement to login to a Skybet account to look at the videos, the upside is that with Sky a substantial shareholder in ATR, it has been easier to negotiate for the inclusion of ATR races in the video package. There are no plans to charge for access.
October 30, 2012 at 02:38 #418667To my knowledge the radio is still available.I listen to the races every Saturday. It is not available on Mozilla Firefox but is available on Internet Explorer.Firefox does not carry the video’s either.
November 1, 2012 at 15:55 #418831Just use Racing UK’s website for race replays (link in left hand column of homepage). It works just like the ATR website’s replays.
I’m in the U.S. too, and get free replays fine this way. You just need to register with them.
Yes, it’s easy. I’m in Switzerland and I signed up for both so I could see the replays. It shouldn’t be any different from the US I would think.
