    I’m hoping to go.

I look forward to seeing you and Azza on parade, Beckster. I bet him and Moscow would still give that young buck Master Minded a good race!

I love to see parades of ex-racehorses, whether they be top-class or just humble old warriors that maybe have been retrained.

It annoys me that the TV networks usually just give these parades a few seconds when they take place.

Beckster, I was very pleased to see Neptune Collonges and Celestial Halo at Uttox the other week. :D

Yea agree Peter Poston’s Ghost, it’s really nice to see the old stalwarts and ex- racehorses at meetings. And now even some of the current crop of horses parading at meetings, and in some cases races named in their honour.

I’m pleased Azza enjoys his days at the races beckster, sounds like he gets a real buzz from them. At home I bet he loves to roll in the muddiest part of the field. :) Unfortunately I doubt I’ll be at Sandown, but I’ll be looking out for you two on the tv.

yea agree wiv both of you, they do quite a bit for the parades at the coarse but not much on tv….yea az loves to be free in the field although has to keep his frontshoes on as he gets so sorefooted..lol shame its wintertime as his wooley coat, but he comes in 1st nov n gets on the walker to tone up a bit for his day out… lets hope we dont have repeats of lastyear as moscow napped n had b chased into parade ring  and then azza was so fresh we overtook the othertwo on the walk up the coarse…. i have alovely pick of the two of them from parade at festival 2006 x

Boxing Day isn’t the same in my house without Desert Orchids pre-KG parade. Sentiment isn’t really my bag, but he was always part of my families christmas.

Last weekend at Arena in Lincs there was a huge ex-racer show… Also the ERC (Ex Racers Club) do parades around courses etc in the UK.
