Arecibo 14-1 ew 7 places free bet.

Backed him last week and he ran well. Lower mark for this than last year. Course and distance winner. Atzeni an eyecatching jockey booking. Blinkers back on, last time they were on he was 1 length behind Oxted off a mark of 100, and 94 for this. Not too concerned about his 2 lbs ‘wrong’ handicap mark.
Should run his race with luck in running, albeit tended to place rather than get his head in front so far this year. Maybe, back at this track, tomorrow will be his day. :good:

    My top 3 rated are:

    Kynren 114; Hey Jonesy 114; Nahaarr 114

KYNREN – Not an obvious choice as he has been running over 7 and 8 furlongs. He has had a wind operation since his run behind Dark Vision at Ascot. First run over 6 furlongs but David Barron wouldn’t be having a go if he didn’t think the horse could handle the cavalry charge. Worth a chance at 33/1 in a couple of places.

HEY JONESY – Could be first, could be last…, but he won the Wokingham and ran creditably in the Stewards Cup. There will be much worse 20/1 chances.

NAHAARR – Solid form in six furlong handicaps this year and must be in the mix. 8/1 generally, 9/1 in place though I’d look for double figures on the day if I could get it.

I think we can say the winner is a Group horse in a handicap…

…and Kynren is well capable of winning at 6 furlongs.

Wd anyone on the winner. Obviously pocket talking but WTF was Atzeni up to there. Must of thought he was conducting a tour guide of Scotland or something.

Think the winner might be difficult to place. Clearly needs a hell for leather 6f, might seen 7f at pattern level, and those few 7f Group races are classy enough races and hard to win.

Great early shout on Naharr. Price just kept on contracting as the week went on.
