Hello there my little bumblebee…. your looking hot on the Aussie stuff my friend. There’s only two that come into the reckoning for me… first two races at Warnambool, Grand Promenade (WON) and Sandman (LOST)….. but I’ll stick with the UK and I only have one selection that might be worth putting a shekel on….

Tomorrow starts a fresh spread sheet not just for 2020 but having almost 2 years of experimenting with Australian racing so maybe it is time for a little caution.My motto has always been – If I post it then I bet it.
I did mention a day or two ago the Baltic Lady’s words regarding betting on Saturdays and I do think much the same applies regarding Bank Holiday Racing, therefore I shall not try to cover all the meetings and may not bet at all on a Saturday and perhaps I will be better off for not doing so.
I have made a start by ignoring many of the New Years Day meetings in Australia which has resulted in just one selection plus the Hype Horse.

If you are still having the party tonight do go easy when doing Knees Up Mother Brown and remember to be kind to those old knees they are not what they once were and take it easy with that dreadful Welsh Water.
Sorry I can’t make it but Daphne insists we must go to bed at 10 o’clock as usual and remember to be kind to Matron & Nathan if they turn up.

Hello again Bill my old todger….. I can assure you that I shall NOT see Matron or Nathan tonight for differing reasons. It’s a pity though, cuz we had ourselves a bundle of fun last year in our festive orgy.
Matron has sent in a sick note, she’s suffering with haemorroids and I can’t allow her anywhere close to that Wurzel Nathan….. now Wurzel himself???… well, that’s a different matter entirely…. he’s promising to keep his trousers on and his dignity intact, by staying at home with his boyfriend and will spend the evening throwing that scrumpy stuff down his neck. I think it goes without saying that both Matron and Wurzel and going to wake up in a great deal of pain in the morning, both with aches and pain at the opposite ends…. that’ll be there own faults for being greedy and doing it as much as they have been….. all things in moderation….

Shall we try MrE to get an 8 to 12 point each profit for January, from Australian meetings.
You might even want to try a staking plan – why not? I’m not that clever but however we do it may prove there really is something going on down there worth considering.
If we can come out at the end of the month anywhere close to 20 points we will be triumphant.

I hear what your saying my little kookaburra and I think that it might be interesting, but I have my doubts as to whether I can be arsed to tip every day. I have my systems for UK racing and they average out at 30pts a month over the last two years and it can be troublesome to post because of time constraints, but the Aussie selections do not tie me to the P/C at fixed times, so I might be interested in putting those selections down…. and the mention of a staking plan to use with it, rather tickles my fancy….. mmmm…. food for thought young Billy, I might join you as we forage down below….

I agree that constraints are most disagreeable MrE but I shall post a record of my losses and if I am lucky, my profit for the month of January as it progresses.

Here we go then little kookaburra….. yesterdays Australian effort was a n/runner, so nothing was subtracted from the pot.
As we are about 16hrs in advance of their first race, I usually look in later tonight to see if there are any more n/runners, doesn’t always happen cuz I forget, especially if I’m stuck into summat on the telly, but if there are any more bets, I’ll stick them up as extras…..OZZY’S BETS….
