It cannot get much worse I had a better picture on my portable tv in the 80’s with the aerial on top of the tv.
Quite shocking Sky allow this to be broadcast as they are the owners of ATR.
No wonder they didn’t change the name to Sky Horse Racing and have left it as At The Races they seriously need to sort this out.
January 29, 2018 at 13:54 #1339711Haven’t they only recently fully taken over? I would presume it will be something that comes in in the near future.
Some difference between ATR and RUK picture wise

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 29, 2018 at 13:58 #1339713When they were asked last year they said the cables were not installed in the irish tracks to make HD possible until 2019, but they have always been minority shareholders until the became majority last March and the rumours were a rebrand as part of the revamped Sky packages.
I suspect they are waiting to secure the irish rights which are due for renewal in 2019 before any rebrand but this does not mean a SD channel can’t still have better picture quality.
January 29, 2018 at 17:53 #1339779I don’t bother to watch it any more. A child and a ten year old mobile phone could do better. Camera ankles and views terrible, not many views of the horses before the race. The times I’ve seen Racing UK it hasn’t been any better either.
