Look on the racecourse website for info and this is what you find, a prime example of marketing jargon, littered with misuse of the language:
About – Saturday 4th October
What better way to savour such the occasion than with a delicious drink in hand? Seamlessly marrying tradition and modernity, this raceday also features the annual Ascot beer festival – in association with Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) – catering to all tastes with an astonishing array of real ales, ciders, and perries. Best enjoyed with friends and family, while watching equestrian excellence unfold. With plenty of flavoursome food stands, wine bars and curated cocktails to tuck into too, there’s no better place to satisfy your culinary cravings and tantalise your taste buds.
“such the occasion’ would benefit from the use of ‘an’ rather than ‘the’. A ‘flavoursome food stand’ sounds good, but if the crowd eat the stands, where will they serve the food?
And what in heavens name is a ‘curated cocktail’ – perhaps one that stands in when a real cocktail is unavailable.
But it is Ascot and there is racing, as the blurb eventually admits:
“Fear not, racing enthusiasts. There’s plenty of action to indulge in across the weekend too. After all, this is Ascot. Saturday features the Cumberland Lodge and Bengough Stakes, two traditionally good-quality Group 3 races while the £180,000 BetMGM Challenge Cup is the richest seven-furlong handicap in the UK.”
The author of that second sentence should be sent on a remedial English training course.

I have never liked the use of “richest” for a race. “The most valuable…” sounds so much better.
