Surprising to see a Mullins hoss at the head of affairs, derp. Bags of stamina apparently. I’ll probably regret not backing it, same with Poniros and East India Dock. Tricast will come in and I’ll accept it with a shrug and a bottle of Jack.
Nope, I’ve backed Liari and Ascending, both at 16/1. Former got away from the pack over 2 mile last time and was never challenged. I think that was the same race Pledgeofallegiance won last year before his RA triumph.
Latter is in fine form, a gutsy win over 12f and a facile victory over 16f on the AW last two starts. Fast ground a slight worry but trip may negate that.June 15, 2025 at 23:51 #1733136Poniros looks ideal to me here, but in a race where I want a couple, I’ll go with Joseph O’Brien.
Dawn Rising not the most obvious off top weight, but wouldn’t shock me to see him bounce back. He’s the main hope, but I like all the yards runners, and San Salvador likely to be the backup, as I think he’s overpriced.
Dawn Rising EW6Pls

June 17, 2025 at 17:09 #1733433WD Chivers. Spencer special in there in behind, works well on the straight track, nearly always ends in tears on the round.
