I expect him to shorten between now and big race a horse i been a massive fan of.Tough horse won at 2m at same meeting last year under a penalty was staying on at the end.And trainer knows what type of horse to win this race too.
He’s on my shortlist along with Brown Panther who will be there or thereabouts at the finish.
A big outsider who could spring a surprise is Michael Halford’s Certerach. He beat Cavalryman in a 2 mile race at Meydan in March and gave the impression that he could get the longer trip of 2½ miles. Not quoted by all bookmakers and perhaps not certain to run – maybe they already know something? 50’s in a place, 40’s in several places and generally available at 33’s. Both of the big Irish bookies are quoting but it’s best to hold back until the 5 day decs are published tomorrow.
