    REKINDLING 14/1

There is no doubt Order Of St George is one of the best stayers we seen since Yeats even though not win race last year. But all these hard races been in must take there toll on him and next year could be the year.

The St leger is normal race when looking for a stayer and for me 2017 race one of the best for a while you had horses that do well in big 1m4 races next year with Capri and Crystal Ocean. But in terms of a stayer it can be Joseph’o Brein who can get his 1st Royal Ascot winner as a trainer. This horse won Melbourne off decent weight but he was always going to be even better once step up in trip. And this 4yo can be the new staying king of 2018

I prefer Stradivarius for this one Darren. Although Rekindling did well to land the Melbourne Cup, I feel the Gosden horse has more scope for improvement stepping up to 2 mile and further next season.

Capri is tied in with Stradivarius on St Leger form but I feel that the son of Sea The Stars has the more likely profile of a Cup horse and Aidan may yet try to win a big mile and a half race with his horse.

Big Orange and Order Of St George are getting on a bit and why Vazirabad is in the betting is a mystery to me. The French horse seems to be avoiding the UK like the plague and is hoovering up weak races elsewhere. Surely his best chance has long passed.

Stradivarius at 8/1 would be my pick but I’ll wait until the spring.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
