“Ombudsman has the best chance, but does he really have as much as double the chance of Delacroix?”
Only one horse can win the race and as i believe it’ll be Ombudsman the rest can be whatever price they like :o)
October 18, 2025 at 12:28 #1742289Almeric 16-1.
The more I know the less I understand.
October 18, 2025 at 13:55 #1742321I’m def in the Almeric camp , surely more to come and he looks to big for me , hopefully this is a cracker
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
October 18, 2025 at 14:15 #1742330Almeric could be anything, and he’s a nice price, too.

So don't run, just like the others always do

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
October 18, 2025 at 15:44 #1742389I’ll try First Look ew 40s for the day that’s in it.
October 18, 2025 at 15:51 #1742395Backed First Look at 33/1 EW.
October 18, 2025 at 15:56 #1742396Ombudsman is my selection but Mount Kilimanjaro will probably win it!
October 18, 2025 at 16:02 #1742400Based on things so far
Almaqam ew 33-1 drawn 1October 18, 2025 at 16:02 #1742401Ombudsman
– Win
Almaqam – 33/1 EWRev. Forecast
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 18, 2025 at 16:10 #1742406He deserved that after getting no sort of run last year
October 18, 2025 at 16:11 #1742407Well done to Francis-Henri Graffard who trains the best European horses at 10f and 12f. A great performance by Calandagan and a perfect ride from Barzalona.
October 18, 2025 at 16:11 #1742408Hindsight a great thing – Kalpana franked the King George form earlier and we knew nothing was going to outstay him as he stays 12F strongly.
The Arc’s loss was the Champion Stakes gain.
October 18, 2025 at 16:12 #1742411Wasnt expecting Ombudsman to sit last what was that all about. wd winners.
October 18, 2025 at 16:14 #1742412WD Calandagan backers..
Ombudsman left with too much to do at the finish but he beat Delacroix.
Happy with my place on Almaqam though Delacroix had nabbed him on the line.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 18, 2025 at 16:16 #1742413Ruby – One might argue that Calandagan is the best at both trips as only France Galop’s pig headedness at refusing geldings to be allowed to run in the Arc meant he rocked up here.
Hope he stays in training along with the Arc winner and Minnie Hauk too.
October 18, 2025 at 16:19 #1742414Triptych – Ombudsman tracked Calandagan the whole way round and they started their respective challenges pretty much at the same time, he was just beaten by (at minimum) a better stayer or just a better horse.
Good call on Almaqam though
