“Ombudsman has the best chance, but does he really have as much as double the chance of Delacroix?”

Only one horse can win the race and as i believe it’ll be Ombudsman the rest can be whatever price they like :o)

Almeric could be anything, and he’s a nice price, too.

Ombudsman is my selection but Mount Kilimanjaro will probably win it!

Well done to Francis-Henri Graffard who trains the best European horses at 10f and 12f. A great performance by Calandagan and a perfect ride from Barzalona.

Hindsight a great thing – Kalpana franked the King George form earlier and we knew nothing was going to outstay him as he stays 12F strongly.

The Arc’s loss was the Champion Stakes gain.

    WD Calandagan backers.. :good:
Ombudsman left with too much to do at the finish but he beat Delacroix. :good:

Happy with my place on Almaqam though Delacroix had nabbed him on the line. :rose:

Ruby – One might argue that Calandagan is the best at both trips as only France Galop’s pig headedness at refusing geldings to be allowed to run in the Arc meant he rocked up here.

Hope he stays in training along with the Arc winner and Minnie Hauk too.

Triptych – Ombudsman tracked Calandagan the whole way round and they started their respective challenges pretty much at the same time, he was just beaten by (at minimum) a better stayer or just a better horse.

Good call on Almaqam though :good:
