    Saw him win at Ludlow (ironically) last year. Very capable in his class.

    Great shame for all concerned. Very sad news.

    The TV commentator did keep us informed – apparently the horse was still being treated when the next race was due to start. Not sure what his problem was. Shame he couldn’t be saved.
