    We will never know but had Apples Jade still been with Willie would she have gone for the mares race or the Champion.

    Doubt Apples Jade would’ve been in the Champion, droffats. I thought there was a chance at the beginning of the season. Just hasn’t shown enough speed in any race since, including yesterday. Looked beaten coming to the last but outstayed/outbattled Ricci runners. Willie could’ve gone for the Stayers Hurdle with Apple’s Jade. Expect Elliott to try her in a Grade 1 open race at 3m before next season’s Festival to find out. Way she runs could be even better at that trip.
