    Welcome to the forum, gingiefly.

I used to be a yard-man but I am retired now.

I think there are a few on here who still have the joy of mucking-out and working with horses, I’m sure they will be along in a while!

Gingiefly, can we PLEASE converse in English.

It doesn’t take that much longer to type the full word and it certainly doesn’t cost any more.

Methinks GingieFly is a bit of a textaholic, guilty of it myself when I text.

Namedroppers the lot of ya ;)

I used to work part-timish when i was in school for a point-to-point trainer but i wouldn’t know him from Adam now, just on the "breeding" side of his operation – he was ecentric and insisted on using an ex-racer and an Irish draught stallion to induce stamina.

I’m a retired stable lass/trainer’s secretary nowadays although I have ridden out for a few trainers since moving on.  Still ride out now when I can – living in Gib isn’t conducive to that but I get in a bit of riding out when I’m back in the UK [tend to either ride ponies  or do a bit of dressage/jumping here in Spain].  Was pretty impressed with myself that I got 3 lots out in one day at Christmas considering I hadn’t been on a racehorse in a few months!  Got quite a lot of riding out booked when I come back in February – for 3 different trainers so far!
