I’ve been called many things in the past, but I am unaware of this word "expert" that you speak of.

Indeed he did, but the selling hurdle series at Sedgefield has been sponsored by the equine rubber arm of his company for the last couple of seasons.
Quite what that involves I’ve no idea, as his website makes no mention of it whatsoever, but I’d guess at it being some sort of artificial surface he’s developed for gallops, as the alternative definition of "equine rubber" being a contraceptive for stallions doesn’t seem very likely.
