January 18, 2005 at 16:55 #57264Hi kers
i have reasearched 4 + 5 days to try and get more selections but it seems to slip
in fact that is why i look for 1,2,3 in racing post f/c to get more selections for more action for this thread
if you stick to f/c fav only you would have made a much better LSP over last 7 years with less selections
punters still seem to under bet the quick return horse even though its no secret
in fact it had a bad year in 2003 with its lowest strike rate ever, but i followed it last season and it bounced back with 40% LSP
regards
lineform

January 20, 2005 at 17:51 #57267I am going to change system a bit not so much a filter more a rule change , the reason is to try and get bigger priced selections
i have done away with rule four (finished 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 last time ) now they could have finished any position last time
also now they must be 1 ,2 in racing post f/c and not 1,2,3
i will edit original rules at top of thread so check to make sure of the rules
two bets so far and 2 winners both 10/11 sp lets hope we can select some bigger prices with this approach

February 3, 2005 at 21:21 #57272selection for fri 4/2/05
romil star 1:50 wolv lost
not many selections of late but i have had a couple of nice winners based around these rules
i bring others things in to play before a bet
today i backed bunderberg that was returning to the track within 3 days i got 14.0 on betfair i laid it at 5.0
and it romped home @ 4/1 sp
yesterday i backed eccentric returnig within 3 days i got 10.0 and it also won
that is the thing about systems you need to be flexable , use the system to bring in possible bets then look for other things to produce your bets
i think that is when a system becomes a method

February 4, 2005 at 17:37 #57274my last selection lost but as yesterday i pick a cracking winner based around this system
sorbiesharry won 12/1 sp i got 14.0 on betfair thats three cracking winners on the trot ,they were not selections because the f/c price bigger than the rules allows
i look at 2 more things to determine selections and it is working ok at the moment in fact i am really glad i started this thread as it has focused my attention on a certain criteria, it could be beginers luck but in the time i have been betting i have’nt had a 10.0 14.0 14.0 on the bounce before
i will post the selections i find as interest as well as the system bets
lineform
February 4, 2005 at 17:52 #57275i made a mistake with the last selection as it was third in the RP F/C and the rule states 1,2 only
i will leave it in now as it does not matter because the selections i bet on are only based around these rules
the purpose of the exercise is to learn as the system evolves, don’t be to rigid turn your system into a method by being flexable
