Hope you backed him I had a little bit on but only enough to cover WL losses. Thought he would run well and had a chance but he’s ran way better than expected……Hope you took the 20/1 mate I thought he would have been up against it but after that and 4 weeks to go must have a very good chance.

Great ride from Walsh, but given Air Force One’s attempted resurgence after the last, and his jockey’s summation that he wants to go left-handed, I’d quite fancy his chances of turning the tabes in the R&SA if they remain at equal prices.

I think that O’Neill saved him for the good ground, If O’Neill thinks he’s too good to mess around with then take note.

I would expect him to come on a bit for that run. I hope M’Coy is better in time to ride him at Cheltenham , he looks tailor made for the horse.I was surprised to see Walsh grab hold of him like he did.

    Friggo,

Air Force One was overrated until today, by my calculations he will have little chance of reversal.

I don’t bet until the day of race, unless I am planning to lay it off, so I didn’t partake of the 20’s. Congrats to all those that did and also those with bigger. They are lucky people!

Aftertime bashers please form an orderly que.

I never even gave taking 20/1 a thought to be honest and I probably won’t back him at Chelteham.
However it shows people just how good a trainer Jonjo is. He’s given the horse a nice rest, left a bit to work on but had him forward enough to take a very good prize.

The only reason I won’t back him is I thing it’s one of the toughest races to win at the Festival and the EW value has gone.

If all he had to beat was AF1 I would be having my shirt on but I’m pretty sure he’ll be the least of his worries on the day.
