    I know that he is not everyones cup of tea and it has been a while now that I can afford the Racing Post but can somebody tell me if he still writes for the RP?

    Ok judging by the other forum topic about him there are some people who do not like him but seem to read his columns.

    Can they answer my question? Does he still write for the Racing Post? If yes does he do a column on a particle day?

    Alastair took redundancy from The Post a few years ago along many experienced journalists,all that’s left is mostly kids.
    He does the odd freelance piece and may do one on festival trials day perhaps
