IEP doing his best not to win, he was all over the shop. One of those annoying horses that needs plopped on the line perhaps. I think he’ll keep it as the others didn’t have to stop riding. Langer Dan prob worst offender for a single contact actually, poor Bob Olinger.

Not sure what Ruby is seeing there, looked like Impaire and Langer both drifted into each other, result not affected.
Stewards called can’t see the result being changed but secretly hoping it does

I didnt see interference myself. IAP was just far enough ahead when going left. LD went left as well then switched and rallied.
The problem is Langer Dan interfering with Bob Olinger after the last. How do you then punish Impaire et passe for some small interference at the 2nd last?
Go Rachael, said she would have won bar interference.

Pocket talking yes, but that’s the only justifiable reasoning! Townend has ran across from right to left and left to right!
Not sure you can change that result even with the small margin of victory, I don’t think the interferrence was one sided (6 of one and half a dozen of the other) – had LD stayed straight I am not sure there would have been any contact at all.
The thing is, as IEP drifted in, LD has drifted just as far out and Skelton hasn’t stopped riding when contact was actually made. Also as LD drifted out he nudged into Bob Ollinger as well.
I think Townend will probably be kicking himself that he didn’t hold onto him longer and avoided all this mess.
