Don’t recall the Ballydoyle horses ever running so poorly; is this a blip (if so, it’s prolonged) or is there some underlying problem?

They had a bug or virus in the yard about a month ago. They haven’t been on fire since then, and they’re a stable who tend to let the horses race themselves into fitness. I can imagine a lot of these improving for the run and running better at Leopardstown.

A mixture of two things; The yard has had issues with a virus and some of them are running badly due to this- part of the problem with that is, some of them seem to not be showing signs of this via testing. The second thing is the yards horses haven’t quite been as good this year. The 2yos were late to be worked this year, haven’t been of the class as yet of some years (not to worried there) the 3yos haven’t looked as good as they did at 2 and the 4yos have either been injured or retired.
