Earlier in the week I just happened to think that the Channon stable did not seem, to me anyway, to be hitting the heights of recent years.
After today, I now understand why……20/1…7/1….11/1…25/1 ….the latter having only beaten one horse in its three previous outings.

What are you insinuating?
August 28, 2010 at 18:42 #314951Bigphill1982, whatever made you think I was insinuating anything?
The stable has, it seemed to me, not been attracting the headlines it once did. Now that the rain-softened ground has arrived it appears to be benefitting one or two previously useless horses.
All it proves to me is that when these ‘out of the blue’ thoughts occur, as they did this week, then it was silly of me not to have paid closer attention to his horses. Now I understand why Channon came to the fore in my thinking this week.
Do you never have similar near-premonitions that you look back on and kick yourself for not having grasped the nettle?Spooky eh?

I do yes. I said to myself after backing Debussy at chester to back him when he’s going round a circle. Saw he was running in America and didn’t do anything, well, he had to win didn’t he!
