The unsettled weather/ground conditions proved last week to be one of frustration for me and I am now hoping that is all behind me and with plenty of sunshine today I have my fingers crossed for better things.

Now here is a funny one MY NAME IS RIO, not the top weight on the 4.25 card at Ayr but having a 6lb penalty makes it top weight???? I am not sure I understand but guess there are others who do.

MY NAME IS RIO . . . did not look a straight forward selection and should have been swerved – I wish I had but perhaps is another lesson learned.

Uttoxeter 6.50 ZAYFIRE ARAMIS also races with a penalty but of 7lb and each way possibility at 5/1

Now here is the funny one: –
VIOLONIST 850 Uttoxeter has 7lb extra and is 7lb clear and has an almost unknown 7lb claimer in the saddle but has ridden the horse in Point to Point races plus is napped via the Odds Checker site. At 6/5 is it worth it?
