Wouldn’t do the Betfair hurdle form any harm either! Did you take any of the 7/1 about your
Jezki
yesterday?
March 6, 2013 at 22:53 #431523Nah I didn’t mate, no point when I have enough on at far better prices

Rule the World
for the Neptune today,he’s an 8/1 shot with most going NRNB but Hills still go 10/1 without the added security,I’ve taken the 8/1 thanks just in case!I know this is a helluva race and I’ve missed the boat completely with the Fav ‘Pont Alexandre’ but my fellow might just have the more speed over this trip, the Fav looks an out and out galloper to me!

March 7, 2013 at 17:23 #431583Gord any thoughts on the 1000 guineas or epsom derby
In 1000 guineas i like WHAT A NAME needs fast ground she does and
JUST THE JUDGE. i think this CERTIFY be like previous horses from stable and not train on like DISCOURSE and Lyric Of Light. And in derby i am on MARS 25/1 who i think will stay in ireland for races like ballysax and derringstown route. And TELESCOPE at 40/1
he go for Dante that be first race of the year for him. but i wanted to ask you on your thoughts on OCTVANGO. he is 66/1 with Ladbrokes and only horse trained by Andre Fabre that in derby he still holds a entry after the cutoff to 111 horses left in derby today. he may stay in france but he could come over as well any thoughts on his breeding about him.March 7, 2013 at 20:47 #431604To be honest darren this years 1000gns is doing nothing for me at all,I’m not a fan of
Certify
and dont see her improving a deal over the winter. All my carrots are in one basket regarding the Classics and thats the 2000gns.This
Ocavango
,at least one of us can spell it,wont be winning any Derbys either because I dont like the sire ‘Monsun’.As for the Oaks I still like this
Liber Nauticus
,She is bred to win an Oaks imo mate.
Anyway,fantastic news thatBoston Bob
runs in the RSA and
Back in Focus
the 4 miler. Now what about bloody
Cantlows
target??Poor Show Paul Webber!
March 7, 2013 at 21:19 #431607If only we knew where
Toner D’Oudairies
runs Gord
Could even be Gowran Saturday!March 7, 2013 at 22:02 #431611If only we knew where
Toner D’Oudairies
runs Gord
Could even be Gowran Saturday!Geezus he’s entered in everything Tommy,we dont even know if he’ll be jumping fences or hurdles???
At the weights I cant see him getting in anything myself sadly!March 8, 2013 at 00:27 #431625Sorry to disappoint you lads, but Attaglance will p*ss it. The Centenary. Unless it’s worse than good to soft. (Famous last words…)
Grimes you snake in the grass,me being big on
Cape Tribulation
and that has to respect
Attaglance
strictly on what the pair acheived in that historic double last year, his hurdle rating makes him a Jewson Horse but
Carlito Brigantes
makes him a Gold cup horse, there’s the difference! And both get into the bloody ‘Centenary’! Incredible planning by both camps methinks

I bet on Attaglance at Cheltenham last year, as he’d broken the track record at Market Rasen in his previous race, under 11.9, giving 11 lbs to Kandari, and beating him by 9 lengths.
The bloke who wrote up the race, the analysis in the Racing Post, must have had an off-day, as we all do. Here’s what he wrote:
‘ATTAGLANCE, a previous C&D winner, ran on really well after being thereabouts throughout and probably outstayed a horse who didn´t get home. Winning off a rating 9lb higher than his previous highest, it goes without saying he´ll find things tough now.’
As he’d broken the track record by almost 4 seconds, I thought his first comment about probably just outstaying the second sounded strange, but, in view of his subsequent win at Aintree, how about the second comment? LOL. Pretty unusual, though, especially with two horses at the same meeting.

At the weights I cant see him getting in anything myself sadly! He’s not declared for Gowran anyway Gordon so hopefully he’ll get into something.
March 8, 2013 at 17:02 #431680Gord you not having a go at my spelling are you mate i try to spell it without looking at page this OCAVANGO i did.We agree on the same horse for the oaks then we do.
Any thoughts on LOCH BA for the handicap on the first day as well.
March 8, 2013 at 19:58 #431700I have backed Loch Ba at 25s Ew purely out of sentiment due to the Somersby connection
March 8, 2013 at 20:46 #431707I wouldn’t put anybody off backing
Loch Ba
he’s a Radford horse so I will always give him a second look. He’s at the right end of the handicap and is a progressive sort,’Calg’ could have run in this with top weight so connections must give this fellow a chance,I just hope Doms fit enough to ride him!
March 8, 2013 at 20:52 #431709Now I like to think I’m a decent judge of a horse and I dont do too bad selecting targets for them either,so why on earth
Cantlow
has been backed into 10/1 2nd fav for the ‘Kim Muir’ is beyond me,its not a race for novices and he’s not a horse for a bloody amateur rider either.Obviously somebody knows better than me then?

I’d personally runAlfie Sherrin
in this and
Cantlow
ideally in the ‘JLT’ or at worse the ‘Byrne’if I was JP.
March 9, 2013 at 10:36 #431782Coral Cup is always ultra competitive however one that will start to get backed nearer the day is BOURNE and at 33s I’m happy
March 9, 2013 at 12:07 #431803Ground has scuppered my Imperial Cup selection so have gone for Pine Creek and First Avenue as an EW shot
