I was enjoying listening to Wm. Hill radio this afternoon with guests Gordon Brown, Sam Turner & Chris Pimlott when my attention was drawn to Chris Pimlott when making his 3.00 Cheltenham selection because it was trainer JJ O’Neill’s birthday and he claimed he always plays selections taken from the Racing Post of peoples birthdays. Would you beieve it when MATORICO won at 20/1.
There was a little bit of good humour about the studio but he did say he has played this system for many years.
I have searched without any joy to find such a list on the RP website and therefore must assume it is only available via the paper edition – what a shame.
Unless anyone knows of the wehereabouts of such a list.

April 14, 2016 at 08:12 #1242318You have to wait until 21st November for Richard Hannon JR’s birthday, bill.
He might have a runner on the all weather that day or he might be in the Windshear pub p!ssing it up.

April 14, 2016 at 09:38 #1242322How on earth did I guess you would be aware of his birthday of all people Nathan?
But is there a daily list somewhere . . . . perhaps not!

April 14, 2016 at 09:43 #1242324I’ve got to go to work Billy,
but I’ll see what I can find later on this evening.
Would be hard work wiki-ing 600+ trainers birthday’s, so it will be a list or nothing.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 14, 2016 at 11:12 #1242332The list does appear in the printed Racing Post every day. I don’t buy it any more but surely someone on this site does (or maybe not!).
April 14, 2016 at 12:26 #1242338Thanks for your posts chaps.
I am not sure exactly what Chris Pimlott said, that is, was it only trainers? Perhaps “jock’s as well but it was treated as a little bit of nonsense until the winner came in at 20/1 and then continued to say he had played the system for years.
Who knows if they are just fun stakes for a little interest but one has to ask the question if he would have continued to play it if it did not win.
