Mince was Mince again tonight, on that effort she needn’t bother showing up at Royal Ascot.
I am sure I read somewhere that Intello may drop back to a mile for the Marois next time. He looks one to keep on the right side of anyway, Magician would make a good opponent for him so we can see who comes out best?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

What a ****** Idiot! Desperate measures from a Desperate man! A total embarrassment to the Sport of Kings and the elderly! How many pensioners have the potential to earn £500,000 after their retirement Ffs? John McCririck Shameless Sexist Pig should be laughed out of court…………..If he’s not I’ll tell my old pal Bert the Caretaker to sue the government for insisting he retire at 70,I’m sure Bert would take a £100,000 out of court settlement for doing what we all hope to do one day and thats retire too.McCririck obviously hasn’t been saving up for the inevitable day that awaits those fortunate enough and will fleece all those prepared to listen to his Bollox and print it accordingly.I’ll go 1/3 his fake performance convinces some saddo!

Pathetic performance Steve, she wouldn’t win a Wokingham never mind a Group 1,the question has to be asked…..Has she trained on?
I shall Tweet Roger that very question now!
June 3, 2013 at 22:10 #441740Any thoughts on STUBBS who won at weekend he got beat on debut by the horse that our Tommy is following.
21/05/13
As forStubbs
v
Saburo
,I’ll take the O’Brien horse to reverse future placings with the Bolger Colt, these ‘Danehill dancers’ love to stretch out on good ground Darren and he certainly never got that first time out against ‘Saburo’.My reputations on the line I know but hey whens it never?
Well Tommy THM has gone for ‘Saburo’ as his 2000gns horse and he’s been influenced by the fact that his stablemate ‘Dawn approach’ won the very same race last year.I have kept my cards a bit closer to my chest as there’s been a plethora of 2yo talent seen out early this season but tonight I saw a horse who I’ve watched closely since the defeat at the hands of Tommys horse on their debuts a horse as I stated above I’m convinced is a better long term prospect than this ‘Saburo’.In
Stubbs
we have a horse with a middle distance pedigree showing speed now that ticks boxes for me as this fellow will get the Guineas mile stood on his head, something I have grave doubts about ‘Coach House’ doing and ironically he’s only won the same race ‘Dawn approach’ did last year too! The Sceptics out there will question the time I know as the fillies clocked a better one but I’m looking at a far bigger picture,I’m looking at a Guineas/Derby horse, not unlike ‘Camelot’.
TAPK is going for the hatrick of Ante-Post 2000 gns winners here and inStubbs
I’ve found him! Watch his price collapse now the legend that is TAPK has spoken!
Stubbs
£100 e/w 20/1 William Hills 2000gns 2014.
June 4, 2013 at 09:46 #441750Just been up town to pay a bill and couldn’t resist a little diversion into William Hills!

My irritating habit of trying to find a star before they’ve been seen in the flesh can see my name be thrown into the hat for next year’s first Classic Gord. This
Almuhalab
of mine comes from a family of late developers, so the fact he’s as yet unraced doesn’t concern me too much. I’m on at 50s and if he shows any similarities to his dam I think it may be game on to see which of the TRF ante-post players has the most valuable vouchers next spring
June 4, 2013 at 12:25 #441758Anyone fancy Trading Leather for the Irish Derby?
Had a look at the betting today and he is 16/1 with Stan James. Paddy Power only go 9/1
Not all the big firms have priced the race up yet but Ruler Of The World is best priced 15/8 with Stan James, Libertarian about 4/1 and Battle Of Marengo 6/1.
I see no reason why Battle Of Marengo would reverse placings with those who finished ahead of him at Epsom.
I think Ruler Of The World might be a good thing having beaten most of those behind him in the betting, looks like he has the best tactical speed and surely has potential to improve again having gone from maiden to group 3 to group 1 in three races.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Ladbrokes odds compilers would go;-
1/5
TAPK
,legend of Ante-Post betting and Ruler of the Ante-Post Kingdom, still to have his Crown removed but closest yet would be;-
2/1Darren
,more than capable of spotting a good un!
9/4Thehorsesmouth
,very difficult to split with Darren!
5/1Jonibake
,Excellent judge…….Of a Cecil horse but has he got a 2000gns one?
6/1Bozlike
,again a decent judge but still a bit wet behind the ears! His Greeness shows a willingness to learn though!
10/1Steve Caution
, you can tell this fellows still feeling his way round here but could surprise, bit like
Ghurair
and
Steeler
would have done this year!! A big surprise!
100/1Ginger
,definitely the rag amongst this quality field,I’ve often wondered why Ginge finds Ante-Post betting such a nightmare and the only conclusion I can come too is he cant back half the field if he doesn’t know whats running!!
Trading Leather
for the Irish Derby is a good call Steve,I’m already on for obvious reasons..(Burnt fingers)!

Ladbrokes do not allow The Great TAPK to forget about/get money back on ante-post non-runners and back 8/1 favourites @ the 28/1 it was three months previously.
Those Ladbrokes chappies better get another odds-compiler, not even they’d get away with a 191% book and price one of the favourites @ 100/1.

I see a pattern here.
Camelot favourite at time of bet.
Dawn Approach favourite at time of bet.
Stubbs favourite at time of bet.Value Is EverythingJune 4, 2013 at 17:44 #441802Come on Gord.
Have some bottle.
Why not…Start an Ante-Post competition where it goes from today until Derby Day next year, open to any TRF member. No varied stakes, just done as per £1/point stake. Each way could be allowed if you’re not confident enough to bet win only. Competition judged on either 1 point win or 0.5 points each way. Particepents may have any amount of bets (1 point per selection) on any Ante-Post race they wish as long as it is before overnight declarations (ie ante-post).
I’m game if someone else wants to score the competition.
