    7.20 Windsor this evening – I would keep an eye on Eddery’s runner (Outrageous request (I think)) either next time out or in a handicap over 12f once he gets a mark. He was very tenderly handled but was flying home with little encouragement when the race was over. Never given a chance. If I had backed him I would have been slightly irked by the ride!

    Okay Aragorn. I have been very bad with horses to follow, and have either forgotten them, or not been looking out for them. I’ll use your message to prompt me to start a spreadsheet to put them in. After that, I just need to check them against the entries twice a week.

    edit: Ouch! Only just noticed that Au Courant was running this evening, and he won at 9/2. I had a bet on him at Cheltenham, so presumably I would have previously have put him in a list of Horses To Follow, if I had had one!

    Just beaten tonight at Windsor by a Stoute newcomer at a big price despite taking a walk in the betting. He rode the horse to win tonight so they are probably a little disappointed. Ground helped as well.

    Definitely one to follow over 1m4f if not harshly treated.
