Meydan City – how good is he going to have to be to justify that price??
June 21, 2008 at 15:21 #169648About 1lb superior to The Green Monkey.
June 21, 2008 at 15:40 #169650So he’ll only have to be rated 55 then

June 21, 2008 at 17:51 #169660The new racecourse has a canal planned
so arriving by boat will be possible..
This also implies leaving by boat
and one can only hope that Arabs
can navigate the waterway
after a bad world cup.As an aside the eye congratulates
Mrs Pitman on her Ascot attire
placed as she was
in that dazzlingly beautiful midnight blue creation.
and striking pearl choker..June 21, 2008 at 19:30 #16967471lbs
71+, surely?
July 9, 2008 at 15:23 #172532Is he up to the task today ?
July 9, 2008 at 15:31 #172540Second highest price for a yearling and they have had £770 of it back.
July 9, 2008 at 16:11 #172547I doubt they’d be concerned.
July 9, 2008 at 16:29 #172549Well theres another 9,714 quid back. Didnt see the race, did it look like he could get back more in future? 7-1 wasnt a bad price really.
July 9, 2008 at 16:45 #172552Could win more races but doesn’t look a star.
Colin
July 9, 2008 at 17:21 #172561Drifted like the Marie Celeste in the betting and did not look at all impressive going down.
Still not 100% sure about him, although I did back him today, as I’m not too sure what he actually beat in this race.

Frankie didn’t have to do alot and I thought the horse won quiet comfortably and came on alot for its last run. What did he beat? well I might be the only one who thinks this but the field did have some expensive purchases and I doubt any trainer wouldn’t of thought he had a chance as they all had promising starts to 2008. The ground played alot in the race but I do think Meydan City will have a good future in the sport but wether thats at Group level im not sure.
July 10, 2008 at 05:36 #172600They should have him amongst their nomination at least for the Melbourne Cup. If not this year then certainly next.

Makes perfect sense to me. Absolutely clear as day.
