    Think I might live to regret this, having been told by a highly reliable TRF legend that Mount Everest was’the one’. But I can’t risk Japan winning the Derby from my subs bench so….

    With the nap/star not transferable, Jonibake gave me a message to substitute in Broome for Advertise (not East).

    Five TRFers scored with Mahdmoon second in the Derby and nine with third Japan (Silent Assassins’s nap). Three of those, Botchy, FinalFurlong and Kilmurry managing to find both 2nd and 3rd 460 + 260 = 720 points to be joint top scorers today. Kilmurry also has his/her nap Persian King running as favourite in the French Derby tomorrow.
