Bit early with this one, but thought with the first qualifier today, it might be an ideal opportunity to spot any during the series, with a view to March.
Today’s qualifier at Cheltenham…..

For today’s race, I’m most interested in Angel Of Harlem and Sykes, but the one who interests me most for March is Wait For Me.
I thought he ran well enough in it last season, but the yard will surely be stronger this season, and he might be a different proposition this time around.
November 10, 2018 at 17:22 #1380248Been a couple of qualifiers since last update, and the two I would take from them are Abolitionist, and Splash of Ginge.
Abolitionist was very impressive today, while I thought that Splash of Ginge shaped really well at Newbury. His options over fences might be limited, and trainer does like this race, so I think he could be a dark one.
There’s a couple of Giggs novices I’m watching, Daly Tiger, and Tintangle, and I think they could be contenders if they aren’t proper top notch Novices contenders.
December 28, 2018 at 15:21 #1390535First handicap bet for The Festival, and a very eyecatching run from Sire Du Berlais at Leapordstown today.
Sire Du Berlais 50’s EW
January 4, 2019 at 12:56 #1391282Had a go on SDB at 25s myself VTC.
Think the Pertemps race at the DRF is the one to keep an eye on also, see DW last year, but that was a very obvious eyecatcher. Glenloe was very similar last year, hopefully a nose better outcome
January 6, 2019 at 01:27 #1391557Think he’s got a sporting chance Kev, hopefully he makes it on the day.
I’ll be keeping a keen eye on that Leapordstown race as well.
January 12, 2019 at 13:37 #1392296Blaklion the real stand out in today’s qualifier at Warwick.
Mainly disappointing since the 2017 Becher, but who knows how he’ll fare back over timber. NTD certainly targets The Pertemps, so he’s certainly interesting for March.
On the verge of adding my initial hope, Wait For Me, he’s a mad mad price at 33’s, and I would love to bet him NRNB.
January 17, 2019 at 23:46 #1392786For info, Hills going 5 Places on this now….
Decided to add Wait For Me, as I’d kick myself if I missed that price. Watch him get an SP of 40’s now.
February 13, 2019 at 23:48 #1397354I’ve decided to take a chance on Dawn Raider for this at 25-1, that looks too big for me, and although it is a very difficult race, I’m happy with him.
Another I’ve went with is Cuneo, also at 25-1. I would draw a line through his last run.
February 13, 2019 at 23:59 #1397357Decent shouts Autumnal, good luck.
No more from me right now, but at 33’s, Dingo Dollar is interesting. I’ve bet him for Ultima, but the risk there is that there’s a chance that his main target is Ayr, which brings this into the picture, as he’s already qualified. Can’t get close to that NRNB right now, but if I could………….
February 14, 2019 at 18:50 #1397427Taken a small bit of 20/1 on Tin Soldier NRNB. Interestingly he’s moved from WPM to Pat Kelly in those colours the bookies hate….He looked all but finished when he fell on chase debut over a year ago. He has some very decent hurdle form, but he is a bit of a boat.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 14, 2019 at 22:48 #1397446Love the look of Jessie’s horse Not Many Left for this. Has plenty of bits and pieces of really tidy form and fits the profile of recent winners, being a young improver who’ll be all the better for jumping a fence next season.
February 15, 2019 at 21:41 #1397537First handicap bet for The Festival, and a very eyecatching run from Sire Du Berlais at Leapordstown today.

VTC – Elliott has confirmed that this is the plan for Sire Du Berlais. Nice work getting the 50-1
February 16, 2019 at 00:23 #1397569Thanks CNC, happy enough, but trying not to build my hopes up too much.
A lot of nice ones could come to the fore this weekend, but keeping everything crossed.
February 18, 2019 at 11:47 #1397897Wednesdays race at Punchestown the last qualifier in Ireland, will be very informative, last years winner came from it.
February 18, 2019 at 14:28 #1397918Tin Soldierg given 144 for Wednesday if they decide to run him!
