Kilfilum Cross – ” interesting ” year it’s had prior to being entered for this race.

I’ve gone for Measureofmydreams at 9/2 and Captain Chaos at 20/1 EW. I know the value for Measureofmydreams has gone, but he is one flying according to Elliot and Codd. Back on his old form he is very well handicapped. I can see Codd go to this 3rd festival win of the week. Captain Chaos also dropped a lot in the weights last year, but his last two runs behind Lake View Lad were very encouraging. I can see him hitting the frame here.

With Any Second Now shortening dramatically, and money back for my two NRNB’s, I can afford to lay off a bit on him. He’s a big bet, and he’ll still be a serious winner for me, with it being The Kim Muir.

I had to take the 14’s on one of my big hopes for the season, It’s All Guesswork at 14’s.

    Any Second Now 16’s
    It’s All Guesswork 14’s

I can easily afford to add an outsider here, and I was looking at Rogue Angel, Squouateur, Perfect Candidate, and Sumkindofking, with preference for Squouateur or Perfect Candidate at 33’s. I think they’re all capable of big runs, but I’ll stick with that duo.

I went for Livelovelaugh earlier today at 20s. He drifted out to
33s with Bet365 a short time ago and I grabbed some of that e/w. he’s back into 16s
now. Probably the Mullins factor after that outrageous 50/1 in the last, but I think
he has an e/w shout. Also stuck on a bit on Just A Sting at 18s, just
in case my reserve for this in Nathan’s Cheltenham competition should pop up. Been a good
day thanks to ante post back in January for Frodon 16/1 (in Bobby’s TRF V Pricewise competition)
and a bit off 8s today. It’s just as well as everything else has been pulled up or run like
a drain. Hopefully this would be a nice way finish off the day, and have me ready for the
big day tomorrow. Good luck all :good:

    Well done VTC.
Certainly “caught the eye” last time. ;-)
Any second now stewards will have connections in for an explanation.
    Or maybe not.
