i’m with you Raymo with your first two selections (sorry for thee kiss of death)
September 26, 2018 at 15:44 #1375800Sorry Raymo, you’ll be stuck with Euro Nightmare if you ask my thoughts, and if he gets in, Sands Chorus.
I’ll be delighted, firstly, if they both run, and secondly, if they do run well.
Nowhere near as confident as I was with Dolphin, but you never know.
September 27, 2018 at 17:09 #1375879Stylehunter gets in !! And Sands Chorus for you too Bobby
September 27, 2018 at 17:11 #1375880No kiss of death NW. Maybe great minds think alike

Or two bumblers together with a similar pin!! Good Luck working out which applies LOL
September 27, 2018 at 19:58 #1375895I’m glad to see Stylehunter got in as well Raymo, I have all my eggs in the
one basket with him. I’m surprised to see that the 16s I took 3 weeks ago
is still available, I would have expected him to have dropped quite a bit
having made the cut. Perhaps with Frankie being up on Wissahickon it might
look like he’s the one that impresses Gosden the most. He certainly won well
enough last time out at Chelmsford but he didn’t really beat anything, and none
have gone on the frank the form. I suppose the same could be said for Stylehunter,
those that he beat haven’t done much either, but he seemed to win with a great deal
in hand. I still think he’s value at 16s, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t trading nearer
single figures come Saturday.September 28, 2018 at 15:41 #1375946I love the Cambridgeshire, probably my favourite race of the whole flat season.
Stylehunter for me too in this. I’ve backed him in singles at 18’s with Ladbrokes with a boost for the past two days.
I have a nice e/w double running on Little Jo in the silver @ 6’s & Stylehunter @ 16’s too.
Good luck all
September 28, 2018 at 19:40 #1375954Having seen the draw and the ground quickening up I am wavering regarding Kynren so have added PIOVINE at 16/1 8 places and SHARJA BRIDGE the same!!
Either of these two could be group horses in a handicap!!
I will let you know Bobby what Mrsraymo backs when she sorts them out
September 28, 2018 at 22:35 #1375970Can’t wait for this race tomorrow, been round my friends all day mulling over the runners and got it down to THREE horses that I will be backing with Paddy Power who are paying 5 places
First choice is
UAE PRINCE
Sea The Stars – By Request (Giant’s Causeway)
Very lightly raced, he put in a good run when 2nd to Grey Britain on the Rowley Mile back in May, both horses coming from last place to finish 1st and 2nd over 1m4f.
I think the drop to 9 furlongs will be right up his street and with ground conditions in his favour he’ll be there running on up that hill to victory.
AFAAK
Oasis Dream – Ghanaati (Giant’s Causeway)
I would really love to see Afaak come home and win this tomorrow, I have been following him all year always thinking he has a big race in him and I think this must be his best chance on the track that his dam Ghanaati won the 1000 Guineas back in 2009.
He’s yet to win beyond 1 mile which is my only concern but the first time headgear could work the magic.
VERY TALENTED
Invincible Spirit – Crystal House (Golden Vogayer)
He is exactly what it says on the packet and Rossa Ryan takes over from Jason Watson tomorrow taking
3lb of his 4lb penalty.
His comeback race at Chelmsford couldn’t have been won more easily and he was third in this race in 2016 to Spark Plug winning his race on the other side of the track beating 16 horses of the 31 strong field, that was his final race for 726 days until he came out and won comfortably at Chelmsford 8 days ago. This race has been his target and I can’t see him not being placed if not winning.
All Each Way Bets … Good luck everyone, I’ll not sleep much tonight some great racing and top horses running at Newmarket tomorrow.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 28, 2018 at 23:01 #1375974Aye Raymo ground going to GF isn’t ideal for Kynren, thankfully I’ve been able to cash out my bet for full stakes.
Had a good look again and feel Sabador May just want this extra trip as he’s staying on every run and at 28/1 is good value with EIGHT
places on offer. Will need to back Kynren again if he goes out to 14/1+ with the place terms on offer.
September 29, 2018 at 00:21 #1375978Not adding any more, and sticking with Euro Nightmare & Sands Chorus. Went with both to 7, 8 Places, with Euro Nightmare up to 80’s, and Sands Chorus up to 100’s.
September 29, 2018 at 03:53 #1375985With 8 ew places on offer I’ve thrown a couple of darts on horses that will be expected to come late.
Danceteria and Stylehunter it is then.
Good luck all.
September 29, 2018 at 10:52 #1376013Whats the story for me @50/1
September 29, 2018 at 10:53 #1376014Just to let you know Mrsraymo has backed
MOUNTAIN HUNTER 40/1
VIA SERENDIPITY 25/1
SABADOR 40/1
STYLEHUNTER 14/1All each way and all eight places!!
Good Luck Guys
September 29, 2018 at 11:02 #1376016Only one bet for me – Examiner at 80/1. He has a very good record on the Rowley Mile winning or placing in 3 of his 5 completed starts (broke a blood vessel on another occasion). He also finished 6th in last year’s race. Ran very poorly at Goodwood this week but I suspect first-time cheekpieces might help him (he’s looked a bit lazy at times).
September 29, 2018 at 11:51 #1376025Just got the one so far, Stylehunter, so I’ve added Third Time Lucky at 40s 6 places
with Betvictor. Good luck all
September 29, 2018 at 13:15 #1376036From what I’ve seen over the past 3 weeks Kenya (14/1) is a better horse than many think and I have to be with him today on what for me seems a fair mark. I’m looking towards higher drawn horses and one of those who seems overpriced is Seniority (25/1) for a stable on fire. He’s looked like a decent animal throughout this year and I was impressed at Goodwood. I feel you can put a line through his York run after his injury sustained in the week and if he continues his progression he should run a cracker from his mark. Very Talented (16/1) could be very obvious but he ran a cracker in this race before and looks well trained for the race. I’ve also backed Tricorn (20/1) even though Pricewise has put him up. I think he’s ideal for this trip and seems to enjoy the course. He’s run very well in big field handicaps previously and represents a master trainer. I did feel at the last moment that it might not be foolish to have a bit on a lower drawn horse just in case I’m completely wrong with my draw conclusion. That one is Afaak (25/1) who has looked capable of winning a race like this all season and a repeat of his Hunt Cup run would see him go well. I’ve backed 5 but not to huge stakes and I think that’s more than fair to give myself a fighting chance. Best of luck everyone with this lotto.
September 29, 2018 at 15:41 #1376049I’m on Seniority 28-1 ew with 8 places here
