Growl has run some good races this season but hasn’t got his head in front for a long time now. He’s becoming a bit of a ‘cliff horse’ for me but with the softer ground hopefully slowing up a few of the rest I’m in again, 7 places with Sky at 8/1.
Good luck all.
September 21, 2018 at 17:34 #1375492Interesting that the bronze cup were all high ish numbers??
I am more confused now!!
September 22, 2018 at 02:17 #1375528I like the look of Teruntum Star, 16/1 at this ungodly hour, but might just have a few points
added when the market gets going in the morning. He’s hardly what you
would call bang in form, but he’ll cope well with the ground and has some decent
form in the book. In particular he put Spring Loaded to he sword just about this
time last year in the Coral Sprint at York off a mark of 98. That was when Spring
Loaded was bang in form and had just romped home doing handstands in the Porrtland
Handicap. He’s not hit the hights since, but was given a good break before coming
back for the Great St Wilfred last time out. He trailed in last of the 20, but you
can forget that run as he all but fell out of the stalls. He wasn’t unfancied at
8/1, so running of a mark of 99 gives him every chance if Kevin Ryan (who’s won this
3 times out of the last 7 runnings) has got him right. I’m keen on his chances.I also give Aces at 20/1 a bit of a shout too. I’ll settle for those two. Best of luck all
September 22, 2018 at 02:50 #1375531It’s Aces for me at 20/1 (22s including boost) with William Hill. Played him each way (6 places).
Also done my customary each way bet on Growl for 6 places at 9/1.
September 22, 2018 at 11:57 #1375564I’m also on Aces for the another handicap plot by Mr Williams. I liked what I saw at Epsom and he has the soft ground form in France. Ice Age is drawn potentially badly but the 7 pound claim brings him into contention and goes in the mud. I also like Naadirr on his Spring form and Flying Persuit looks tailor made. Aces (14/1), Ice Age (22/1), Flying Persuit (12/1) and Naadirr (40/1).
September 22, 2018 at 15:04 #1375600I am going to be greedy here + add 2 more. I have bet Teruntum Star, but he is just for the win + Summerghand each way.
September 22, 2018 at 15:50 #1375607A race where I’d like 2, so Baron Bolt And G Force for me here.
September 22, 2018 at 16:11 #1375608Well done Kris and Raymo, you got the lottery up! Well, half a lottery.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 22, 2018 at 16:11 #1375609WD Raymo, and Kris, and anyone else with the winner(s)
Two fab horses, so far clear of the rest!September 22, 2018 at 16:14 #1375610Thanks Ginge and GAG

After seeing the replay I said to Mrsraymo I would settle for a dead heat so can’t be disappointed!!
One hundred yards out Baron was deffo in front but the other one maybe was dossing and fought back!!Well dome Kris too!!
September 22, 2018 at 16:20 #1375613Yes, Raymo.
My thoughts were Son Of Rest went for home a little too soon and then idled in front before fighting back once Baron came alongside. The Baron was in front on his own a pixel before and after the post; with SOR’s head down on the line.Value Is EverythingSeptember 23, 2018 at 20:17 #1375658Thank you guys, I thought he was beat, so I was happy to settle for a dead heat.
Well done Raymo too
September 24, 2018 at 09:47 #1375668Well done Kris, Raymo and Mike.
September 24, 2018 at 12:26 #1375675Kris, Raymo, nice to see a few of us get a decent return
