Took all the 60.0 down to 50.0 vroum vroum mag
Entered in the 3 mile Christmas hurdle in Ireland and odds on fav with powersUnfortunately I can see a perfect excuse coming in annie going for the mares Hurdle fresh and faugheen going for the champion.
Faugheen 11/4
Annie mares 9/2 double.December 23, 2016 at 10:36 #1278204Also added kotikova who goes here. 65.0
December 23, 2016 at 19:27 #1278265Vvm just gone into 5s with powers for the WH.
and faugheen and annie power both been cut to 7/4 for the champion and mares.Faugheen pushed right out for this race,

I’ve been looking forward to seeing her come out this year Rocky, I put
her up as one to follow and backed her for the Mares Hurdle at 14s a while
back. I might have jumped the gun a bit with her target, her recent entries,
all of which annoyingly Nicky hasn’t managed to get her to post, seem to
indicate they might be considering the 3m route. I’ll have to sit it out
and see where she heads. If she looks like eventually trapping at Leopardstown
on Wednesday, I’ll have a covering bet for the WH, but I wonder if JP wants to
run her and Unowhatimeanharry in the same race.December 24, 2016 at 19:55 #1278425All I know is henderson saying she’s set for the Christmas hurdle over 3 miles against vvm /snow falcoln/ jezki. And her trip wouldn’t be 2 miles.
I don’t expect her to beat vroum vroum and jezki home but she’s the unexposed entity in the race and could be anything at 65.0 I don’t mind throwing a dart her way, as the winner will certainly be single figures after the race
Could easily come 3rd or 4th and come back for the mares over 2m4
We will soon find out.December 24, 2016 at 20:44 #1278433I think 65.0 is definitely worth the risk rocky
December 26, 2016 at 22:12 #1278642Still think Lil Rockerfeller has got a squeak in this. Certainly Cheltenham should play to his
strengths and if he can keep on improving over the next couple of months who knows.Only a five year old and with Yanworth ( who he gave 4lbs ) franking the form today could be in with a decent chance. Added an each way bet @ 20’s.
Certainly overlooked in this race at the moment.
December 28, 2016 at 14:02 #1278936Vroum vroum mag won well enough there to say she was up on the pace throughout.
Would expect her to go for stayers hurdle now. And my pocket hopes so.
Solid form with shaneshill and snow falcoln behindDecember 28, 2016 at 14:15 #1278940That race was a complete joke as regards a Stayers trial. It was always a distinct possibility they would dawdle and that’s what happened. Set up perfectly for the winner.
December 28, 2016 at 14:20 #1278942I personally think she would show improvement held up off a stronger pace, as she idled in front and was quite keen throughout.
Time will tell if she gets the chanceDecember 28, 2016 at 14:24 #1278943Irishracing.com Live @IrishRacing365
“Very keen today, maybe more pace @cheltenham & settle better. All options open at moment” @WillieMullinsNH Vroum Vroum Mag @LeopardstownRCDecember 28, 2016 at 14:26 #1278944I’m still happy with Snow Flacon for the Stayers. The Old Course and ( hopefully ) better ground will suit
By the way, what about the commentary ?! Jesus wept…

Solid form with shaneshill and snow falcoln behindBacked Shaneshill there @ 20’s to win. Agree with you there Rocky VVM is the one to beat if turning up for the World Hurdle.
Good luck

Hope so!

Plus Faugheen (CH), Annie Power (Mares), Douvan (CC) + VVM (WH) 4-fold
December 29, 2016 at 01:48 #1279050Am I the only one here who just cannot get excited about Harry’s form? Maybe he’s one of those ‘only does enough’ brigade, but he’s only doing enough most of the time to beat pretty ordinary horses, or the races are being run to suit. Really a shame that Ballyoptic fell at Ascot, that would have given us a lot more information. Yanworth would definitely win this if he turned up. VVM getting 7lbs could be invaluable. Faugheen’s headed for the Irish Champion Hurdle, so I think we can rule him out of this. Snow Falcon’s been beaten by VVM easily, Lil Rockerfeller just isn’t good enough (although I’d love to own him), Nichols Canyon lacks that classy spark. Why would they run VVM in the Xmas Hurdle + Nichols Canyon in the 2 miler? Surely they think VVM has a better chance than NC? Jezki? Hmmm. Maybe.
Harry, VVM, Jezki + Ballyoptic look to be the main 4. At the prices I’d rather back any of the latter 3 than Harry at 3.55. Anything lurking in the woodwork?

I agree with you Zark, in as far as VVM would be a threat in whatever race she runs in, but I wouldn’t
bet on any of Willie’s stable ante post, he’s stuffed me too many times. Ballyoptic (IMO) had a tired fall at
the last, if he had got over it I think he would have been well beaten, I think Harry always pulls out more,
but as you say it’s all conjecture. I would imagine Yanworth is Champion Hurdle bound. You already know
my position on Unowhatimeanharry, I think he’s the real deal. I’m not sure what else he can do, he wins
7 on the bounce, the last being a Grade 1 whilst taking a wide berth and coming round them all to win
easily. I’m definitely excited about him. The World Hurdle is the biggie, and perhaps you’re right that
the 5/2 is too skinny with 3 months to go, I’m happy sitting with the 25s and 20s I grabbed earlier. If I
was looking for something lurking in the woodwork, I think Lil Rockerfeller is decent e/w value at 20/1.
Good luck with your bets
December 29, 2016 at 18:03 #1279196Have to agree Harry really doesn’t overwhelm me and I was the same with Big Bucks! Lol but he knows how to win just like Big Bucks so for me personally it’s a race I won’t play much part in because I can’t bet Harry but I have a feeling he could be as other say’ just doing enough’
