Thistlecrack’s running isn’t a surprise after Coneygree came out. Far more likely to get his own way in front. Josses Hill could take Thistlecrack on, but Henderson’s horse is not in the same league as the Bradstock’s when it comes to bold and accurate jumping…. And Joss won’t want to encourage a fast pace, because the slower they go the more his speed is an advantage in a finish.

Silviniaco Conti and Road To Ritches are others who can lead. I’d particulrly like the former to try it, becuse I believe he’s best attacking and his jumping is sound. But neither is an out-and-out front-runner.

Thistlecrack’s supporters have got lucky with Coneygree’s absence.

And here was me expecting to read a gracious acknowledgement that some good judges on here had called the probability exactly right and backed it up with a strong and logical argument as well as a few quid at 8s and 15/2.

Yes Some of us had the Foresight to snaffle the 10/1 but nobody but Bob got 12/1 on Thistlecrack… He’s still got to win mind lets not forget that.If there’s one horse who will test him its Joes Cue Card!!

Ginge…What a predicament I have.Should I lay my two 6/4 shots for a guaranteed £1000 profit and just enjoy the race? Somethings bound to happen to one of them before Monday now.

I wish I had your predicament TAPK :good:

So what would ‘Goldikova’ do ‘Big G’?…I have just had a predicament with ‘Strictly’,Week 1 I saw ‘Ore Oduba’ dance and I took the 17’s,Week 3 he’s 3’s on the machine and I’m being offered generous ‘Cash Outs’,’Danny Mac’ goes 2/1 fav and stays there every week shortening all the time,’Ore’ drifts to 33’s and TAPK goes in again.Come the final its 1/3 Danny,6/4 Louise and incredibly 10/1 ‘Ore’ and thats after the judges and the scores tell you he’s a player..TAPK goes in again at 10’s and incredibly wins…That was a surprise even for me but I stuck it out…Never Surrender pal eh?

Hats off to you TAPK, bottle is one thing you don’t lack my friend :good:

After appearing relatively unpopular with the general public (hence the odds) I did wonder how he managed to win. How many times did you vote?

I’ll be honest Stilvi I never voted once until the night of the final…And then voted maybe 20 times.I was watching via Betfair and all the money was for Danny..£450,000..Louise took a walk in the market out from 2/1 to 6/1 and yet Ore opened at 10/1 and was still 8/1 after he’d danced twice…I always thought the machine ‘Knew’ but this year its seen ‘Brexit’ 10/1 on the night of voting win a 2 horse race and Donald Trump 5/1 win a 2 horse race so I kept saying to myself its not always right and it proved so.

Cheers Gord, very happy with the 12’s, but just wish that I had more on, by no means my biggest bet of the season. Still looking forward to it though :good:

No thistlecrack declared according to the ATR website. Surely an error?

It’s got to be a mistake wexford, he’s trading everywhere as normal and no reports
    of anything amiss.

To answer your question Gordon, ‘Goldikova’ wouldn’t change your position in the king george. A profit is a prophet. Although i’d rather throw all the winnings away than watch strictly come dancing. :negative:

Goodness me Nath. You could have used that as a poem entry, and got yourself more poster of the year nominations as a result !

The Yanworth-Cue Card double pays 4.34/1 with PaddyPower. Might be worth nibbling at.

Sorry, should also add I have also bet Tea for two at 33-1 each way.

I am not the biggest punter and I prefer just a few pounds here and there but a place here for tea for two would make my xmas
