Liking Hadrians Approach of his current mark and has won this before. Ground should be in his favour
April 23, 2016 at 09:44 #1243332I hope Drop Out Joe will give us a good run for our money.
If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.
April 23, 2016 at 10:10 #1243337Look out for me at Sandown guys, I’ll be the one with my mate in the middle of the course smoking spliffs between races and up against the inside rail at the finishing line
April 23, 2016 at 10:13 #1243339Not a shred of market confidence behind Sausolito Sunrise. You would think he would be half the current price if at all fancied. Probably towel being thrown in at early stage scenario.
April 23, 2016 at 11:49 #1243366I’ll give Oscar Rock another chance in the hope he stays
April 23, 2016 at 13:26 #1243388I’ll give you a wave Ben
April 23, 2016 at 15:32 #1243403WELL DONE BIG G and SHERIFF!!
April 23, 2016 at 15:44 #1243405Cheers Raymo, you can include Bobby in that as well, he’s followed him over
a cliff just like me all year.I don’t think I’ve ever been nearer to having a heart attack than I was at
that finish. I had a decent bet on him that made up for the disappointments
earlier in the year.I had said earlier in the thread that I wished more would price him up for next
year’s National, Bet365 were the only firm pricing him at that time. I think he
has National written all over him and I think that’s why the Waley-Cohen’s bought
him to give Sam the chance to finally win the National. Bet365’s site went down
just before the race but thankfully Betfred also quoted him at 33/1. I had a decent
bite at that just at the off. That has gone down to 20/1 but Paddy Power stand 33/1
as we speak. Anyone interested in that should get their skates
on.What a cracking day
April 23, 2016 at 20:25 #1243469Well done, Bobby, Big G and shotta sheriff: fine riding and training performance. I thought he’d been chinned on the line
April 23, 2016 at 22:54 #1243486Just like to say that I was unsure what to back in this race. After reading VTC’s fine opening post, I took his views of The Young Master on board and backed him. I’m now £40 better off!
Cheers Venture To Cognac. Wish you all the best that life has to offer and good fortune
April 24, 2016 at 07:28 #1243497Well done all who backed TYM. Super ride from SW-C keeping him in the first 4 all the way. The horse just kept pulling out more when maybe looked beat. Luckily I put him in my Lucky 15 and backed Saint Are EW. With the 3 other winners at Sandown this netted me just over a grand. I knew he’d won but you always have that nagging doubt until the official result is announced. This should just about see me through the Flat season
It’s funny how this horse cost me when he “won” the Badger Ales and along with Menorah who I seemed to never catch right have more than made up for this

Thanks Joe, I had to hold my breath at the death…..what a finish. Feeling a bit
the worse for wear this morning, but got to get the dogs out for their walk anyway so
it should blow the cobwebs away.April 24, 2016 at 12:24 #1243522“Near the head of the market, is the Neil Mulholland trained The Young Master. I’ve went on and on about this horse a lot on here, and I just think he’s got plenty to offer for races like this. Looked to be destined for the top, until given a strange ride in last years RSA. Took him a while to get going this time around, but was much like his old self at Cheltenham, and after a strange campaingn, he looks the obvious type for this, and I’m surprised he’s not shorter. 14’s looks very big. He was a surprising absentee from the entries for The Grand National, and he’s my idea of the winner of next years race, along with the Peter Bowen trained,” Quote VTC
Great stuff Bob.You deserved that.
April 24, 2016 at 12:38 #1243528Thanks very much guys
Brilliant Ghost, thanks for the good wishes and glad you got a few quid back from him.
Superb stuff Homer
