Just had a 50 with Stan James about Richard Hughes winning and why not? Only 11 behind and Hanagan banned today.
Gonna be a very exciting fortnight
October 25, 2010 at 12:21 #324429At least you got the value, he’s only 9/1 on Betfair.
October 25, 2010 at 12:23 #324432I don’t have a betfair account Eddie.
If you look at Hughes’s rides, he could quite easily bag a treble today.
October 25, 2010 at 12:54 #324440isn’t hughes banned tomorrow?
October 25, 2010 at 13:00 #324442Not sure. It’s wed/thu/fri/sat you need them riding as there’s an evening meeting aswell as the afternoon.

Hughes is not riding tomorrow. Then later on he’ll be off to the Breeders Cup. Hanagan won’t.
October 25, 2010 at 13:04 #324444Won’t Fahey send anything to America?
October 25, 2010 at 13:18 #324448Of course the odds are stacked against Hughes but if he’s a 1 day ban tomorrow that should have little effect as he can still get the maximum number of meetings in this week and double up next week most days.
Dependant if he’s going for both days of the Breeders, if just going for the Saturday it would be a big advantage if in with a shout.October 25, 2010 at 13:34 #324455There’s one back, Jinky for Channon

Not unless he’s selling second-hand DVDs on Amazon.

Hughsie just keeps booting them home but off tomorrow.
Nothing’s impossible but Hughsies task looks damn near it.
Hanagan has some really good rides booked this week and although Hughsie has about 50% more they don’t look too clever.
I doubt if there’s enough good horses that Hughsie could get on to win the title and he looks sure to miss the last few days as he’s going to the breeders..ride on Sat the 6th.
Dare say he could talk the FIL into letting him stay if there was only a couple in it by Monday.
Be very interesting to see what would happen if it got that close…..Title or Paco Boy?
October 25, 2010 at 18:16 #324525Surely it’d be the title, but deep down the connections would want him in America.
October 25, 2010 at 20:58 #324553Don’t forget he also probably rides Tale Untold in the Juvenile Fillies Turf and that is on the Friday.
October 26, 2010 at 12:57 #324650Some may think I’m clutching at straws but if Hanagan only rides say 1 winner today, Hughes has got 15 mounts tomorrow and they’ll all have chances, this is far from over.
