2006 Champion Hurdle – Brave Inca

My Wife was only about a month or so pregnant so why we were having a visit from the midwife on the 1st day of Cheltenham I’ll never know. I was on Brave Inca and had backed him Ante Post each week for a couple of months. Typically as they were milling around at the start there was a knock at the door and it was the midwife, only an hour late..
Wife had turned the television off by the time I had taken her coat and offered her a cup of tea.
Bloody ages she was there. Had to get the result from teletext that evening.
