Can someone explain to me what a horse/jockey has to do to be disqualified. Obv talking with my pocket…but Flake was almost bundled off the track by Primus….and there must be no doubt that Flake would have won but for the "body slam".
February 1, 2008 at 16:24 #139479And of course if you had backed the winner, you would be praising the Stewards for their wisdom.
In fact there was a considerable element of doubt as to whether the runner-up would have won, therefore the Steward’s decision is the correct one.
February 1, 2008 at 16:25 #139480Thought it was the correct decision, the winner was going away again at the post. Too much doubt to disqualify.

No consolation to Flake backers, but I’d thought it was a hard one to call and the doubt over whether Flake would have won on or not probably meant the stewards couldn’t demote the first past the post
February 2, 2008 at 09:02 #139651I’m going to assume you guys are drunk. Do you not think that getting shunted into the railing is going to affect the finish??

You start a thread, people reply and give their thoughts, but because you don’t like what they post, you post the carp above
Amazing attitude underscore imo

Anyone who treats another persons opinion as worthless (and that is what the drunk statement implies imo) will get no credit from me, i’m afraid
February 2, 2008 at 11:33 #139687Wind yer neck in Charlie. It was an obv comment in jest…. I’m sure you weren’t drunk… maybe its a new pair of specs you need.
