you miss the point. Perth is hugely popular and rightly so ~ I’ve been there several times, but it’s the track where racing is most likely to be abandoned due to poor weather. That’s the sole point I’m making regarding the course, as is clear from my post.
By the way, August comes before September, so Perth would miss out another of their traditional dates in your scheme. Have a look at the last ten years and tell me how many days Perth has lost to waterlogging ~ and that’s with no fixtures after September or before mid April. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be happy to see an old fashioned jumps programme, but it’s the courses themselves who want the summer dates, not the big bad bookies.
