I’ve got Andrew Higginson (100-1 with Ladbrokes) in the International Championship snooker starting in a few hours. He’s got the game to trouble any of the top players and if he can get past Shaun Murphy first up then he could have a good run in the tournament.

Good luck with Higginson, Pat. Will they be showing any of the action on Eurosport? What do you think of Jamie Jones at 100/1 for the World Championships? He was brilliant last time and looked a good prospect. A fair way off yet, needs to qualify then theirs the draw but he could be a back to lay if progressing.

It is on Eurosport Nathan, sometimes showing 2 matches simultaneously. Hopefully, they will show the final live unlike the last tournament when Higgins beat Trump in a classic.
Jamie Jones is a good shout at 100-1, he could be in the top 32 when the qualifying starts so will only have to win one match and now he knows what it takes he could be one of those players that plays better over the long matches at the Crucible.

Michael Smith in the Players Championship Darts @ 150-1. He is very inexperienced but has a big future, he has also been winning plenty of tournaments on the youth tour this year. The draw for this tournament also has a very uneven look to it with players like Whitlock, Newton, Anderson, Taylor, Lewis, Van Gerwen and Hamilton all in the opposite half. With the 1st round only best of 11 legs there could be a few shocks so if he is still there in round 2 then it could get interesting.
Just checked the prices for the World Championship, Smith is 300-1 with Paddy Power. That is ridiculous so has to be worth a pound or two with the draw taking place next week.
Plenty of early corners or free kicks from wide positions and these could come into play.
