Well…while there may not be a point to running her over sprints if she can get the mile, technically I would still only call a horse a specialist miler if the mile is all that is within their ABILITY rather than within their PLANS.
April 14, 2010 at 01:26 #290192Tabassum shortening before she has even run the gallops Wednesday. Do you think the mere fact that she is going to run the gallops is enough for money to flow her way?
Or maybe it says that Stoutey thinks she is good enough to go straight to Newmarket in May without a race prep?
April 14, 2010 at 15:25 #290258Big form boost for Tabassum there. Can’t help but feel she’s the best part of a stone better than Music Show, despite the Rockfel placings.
April 17, 2010 at 14:20 #290807Sadly Misheer is a 6f filly after that, but I dont think any of the other runners will mark their mark in the big one.
Anyone else notice Lady Of The Deserts’ Attraction-esque way of splaying her forelimbs?….sadly nowhere near as good.April 17, 2010 at 15:11 #290819Well given Special Duty’s huge flop the other day, I’d say the entire LOTD-Special Duty formline is rubbish. They’re all just beating each other & I’d look to the Music Show-Tabassum formline for the winner.
April 23, 2010 at 12:10 #291916Just been informed that Tabassum doesnt run
April 23, 2010 at 21:08 #292061Allbrookes, a story broke in the Times on Friday saying that and the price drifted accordingly but she ain’t getting bigger than 24s/25s at the moment. IMO they’ll leave it up to the very last gallop.
April 23, 2010 at 21:22 #292064Well given Special Duty’s huge flop the other day
Haha you tit. She ran a nice Guineas trial
April 24, 2010 at 14:42 #292206I emailed the Stoute office to try and get a bit of info on her to put in a piece for next week and his representative emailed back that she will not run. Maybe she’ll do a Binocular.

I would be interested to know did he give any reason why she won’t run and if so does that mean Joanna might be given a shot at the Newmarket race
April 24, 2010 at 20:13 #292290Sorry pickup, all I received was a ‘TABASSUM will not run’.
I’ll try and dig a bit more.April 25, 2010 at 13:46 #292411It might be old news but just read Ryan Moore rides Music Show
April 25, 2010 at 18:05 #292465What a shocking renewal this is.
Form is all over the place…
Can’t even get the handle on who rides what until the final declarations are made. The O Brien runners are way over priced imo but we don’t know if they run.
Tom Segal help us Oh Wise oneApril 25, 2010 at 20:43 #292500Hopefully they’ll have a change of heart and run Flo Jo in the race
April 25, 2010 at 23:01 #292537SETA
In the beautiful Leigh colours. It’s time.
April 26, 2010 at 12:54 #292583Couldn’t muster up the energy to leave the house to take the 7s about SETA yesterday. What a mug. Now into 5s with the defection of Tabassum – which I should have saw coming. Not a very strong renewal so hopefully she can do what Gossamer couldn’t.
April 26, 2010 at 20:51 #292678Fair play Albrookes you called the defection of Tabassum, what chance do you think Special Duty has, do you think she is a worthy favourite or one that should be backed against.
