Are they? Feels that way in name only at the moment. Being allies works both ways. Perhaps the USA could have consulted with us and other NATO allies before it launched the attack. It’s no good coming begging days after they told us the war was won and we weren’t needed.
It’s a low bar but Starmer’s continued resistance to US pressure is by far his finest hour as PM.
Agree that we should be there for defensive purposes but strictly that only at this stage.
