To my mind, Elliott has never really recovered from the sitting on a dead horse photograph.
To be fair, he has had a good season in Ireland – but Mullins isn’t far behind him now and will only need a half decent Punchestown to win the Championship again.
I am sure Elliott would trade in plenty of his Irish prize money for another two or three winners at Cheltenham.
