That is the angle they are going to get him on, because I expect it is easier to prove.
It is a grave crisis for the monarchy. I thought the institution would be in trouble after the death of Queen Elizabeth II but I didn’t expect anything of this magnitude.
Having said that, I am inclined to agree with the opinions above that it won’t be fatal. The King could have acted a bit more decisively but I think William and Kate, perhaps more in touch with the fast moving media age, grasped the potential implications quickly. I think they were the driving force in stripping the late Queen’s second son of his titles.
I only hope all victims of trafficking and sexual violence – including those in this country – receive the justice which they have been denied for far too long. The British political Establishment can morally posture about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor as much as it wants but it is not exactly blameless itself.
